Announcement: Indoor & Outdoor Winter Meeting

Our WINTER MEETING is coming up. Sunday January 29th.

Outdoor activities, weather permitting, from 2pm-4pm (snow shoeing, sledding, X-country skiing, etc)

The meeting starts indoors at 4pm and will feature a representative from Piscataquog Land Conservancy to speak on our mutual goals and there will be information presented regarding tick borne illnesses in equines.

Food will be served featuring a White Chili, Mississippi Roast, Ham and Beans with biscuits chuck wagon style, spinach, and Caesar salad and other fine things.

Mission Statement

The mission of Piscataquog Area Trailways is to promote the creation and preservation of trails on public and private land in the Piscataquog River watershed and to evaluate and inform the public regarding the responsible use and maintenance of these trails.

Service Area and History

We serve the communities of Deering, Francestown, Greenfield, Lyndeborough, Mont Vernon, New Boston and Weare. Our organization was founded in 1996. Piscataquog Area Trailways is a local non-profit organization recently certified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations to our organization are tax deductable.

What We Do

We are a community-based organization, fostering trail activities such as horse-back riding, hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Members preserve and improve multi-use trails through annual trail maintenance. We pursue positive landowner relationships and promote land conservation and environmental awareness
