Mission Statement
The mission of Piscataquog Area Trailways is to promote the creation and preservation of trails on public
and private land in the Piscataquog River watershed and to evaluate and inform the public regarding the responsible use and
maintenance of these trails.
Service Area and History
We serve the communities of Deering, Francestown, Greenfield, Lyndeborough, Mont Vernon, New Boston and Weare.
Our organization was founded in 1996. Piscataquog Area Trailways is a local non-profit organization recently
certified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Donations to our organization are tax deductable.
What We Do
We are a community-based organization, fostering trail activities such as horse-back
riding, hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Members preserve and
improve multi-use trails through annual trail maintenance. We pursue positive landowner
relationships and promote land conservation and environmental awareness
